Walter Jones

Walter Jones, Sr. age 77, of Trussville, passed away July 28, 2013. He was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church and was a retired school teacher. Chapel services will be held on Thursday, August 1, at 12pm with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Pastor Rick Camp and Pastor David Awtrey will officiate. Visitation will be from 5pm until 7pm Wednesday. He is survived by his wife Jean Jones, children Melissa Clark (Robert), Walter Jones Jr. (Cindy), Jennifer Swatek (Michael), brother Barney Jones, sisters Algie Burk, Emma Jean Brewster, grandchildren Second Lieutenant Ian Clark, USMC, Savannah Clark, Ashley Jones, Austin Jones, India Clark, Hunter Swatek, Ethan Swatek, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
