Ronald Thomas

THOMAS, RONALD E. age 61, of Center Point, AL passed away on June 13, 2011. He was a truck driver for many years up until 2009. Ron loved Life, Elvis music, Auburn Football, the Texas Longhorns, the Dallas Cowboys and not to mention the Cheerleaders, Hot Rods, Cooking and BBQ, playing in the pool, and being a Jokester. "If I didn't pick on you then I wouldn't love you." He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Thomas; sister, Norma Jean Horton; parents E.M. and Hazel Thomas. Ron is survived by his wife, Margaret Thomas of Center Point; daughters, Angela Prantl (Billy) of Birmingham, Amy Bell (Shaun) of Tarrant, and Cindy Thomas of Locust Fork; brothers Walter B. Thomas(Janice) and Mike Thomas (Linda); grandchildren, Nicholas Christian Thomas, Kailene G. Thomas, Richard Landyn Rosas, Kandence Danielle Ware, and Kathryn Elizabeth Prantl; numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends; along with honorable mentions, Maggie Mae, Rootie, Mrs. Whiskers and Psycho Kitty. Ron was a very loving, caring, and wonderful, husband, father, brother, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 2:00PM at Jefferson Memorial Chapel, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
