Robert Richeson

Robert Leon Richeson, 80, was born on April 10, 1932 in Granite City, Illinois. He was one of the first Eagle Scouts in the Eastern region of Birmingham. He served his country for four years in the Air Force, while stationed in Germany during the Korean War. He was a active member of IBEW136. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Doris B. Richeson, daughter, Cheryl R. Rushen (Bobby B. Rushen), grandchildren, Erin R. Bentley, Kristen A. Rushen , Zachary B. Rushen, great grandchildren, Robert Thomas Clausen, Johnathan Ross Bentley, and Adley R. Bentley. He is preceded in death by his father, Oral Richeson, mother, Myrtle Aubuchon Richeson, beloved stepmother, Catherine Elizabeth Richeson, son, Robert L. Richeson, Jr. and eight of his ten siblings. Services will be on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Rev. Bob Smith will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
