Robert Howell, Jr

Surrounded by his loving family, Robert "Bobby" Cole Howell, Jr., 63, of Birmingham, AL went to be with the Lord on Saturday. He was a devoted father, husband, grandfather, brother and uncle. Bobby was always a hard worker and dedicated family man. He worked for more than 40 years as a welder. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Center Point and recently attended First Baptist Church of Pelham. He was an avid fisherman and huge Alabama football fan. He was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Edna Howell. He was survived by his wife Debbie Howell, his children Jason Howell (Mandy), Alisha Womack (Jason) and Jessica Blackerby (Derek), step children Jason Bartko, Josh Bartko and Kelly Higginbotham (Jason), his sister Cappy Blackwelder, his grandchildren Dustin, Nathan, Laney and Skylar Howell, Makayla, Olivia and Caleb Womack, and Macie and Micah Blackerby as well as many nieces, nephews and step grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville on Thursday March 2, 2017 from 12pm-2pm with service at 2pm. Graveside service to follow at Forest Crest Cemetery on Hwy 78 in Irondale.
