Richard Jones

Richard E. Jones, age 60, of Pinson, passed away September 7, 2010. He served in the US Navy Seabees in Vietnam. He was retired from the Birmingham Police Department with 20 years of service and was currently a Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputy. He loved the beach and hunting. He was loved by all that knew him. Services will be Friday Sept 10 at 2pm in the Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Reverend Gary Creel officiating. Visitation will be from 5 until 7pm Thursday. He is survived by his wife Lisa B. Jones, sons Phillip Chad Jones, Patrick Clay Jones, siblings Nita (Bob) Tolar, Andrew Jones, Jeff (Pat) Jones, Judy Jones and Mark (Janice) Jones, several nieces and nephews, special great niece Carlie.
