Peggy Hollifield

Peggy Henson Hollifield, passed away to eternal life at the age of 69 on Monday, November 1, 2010. Surrounded by in the arms of her family her battle of cancer and pain is over. Peggy was a devoted wife of Les Hollifield for 51 years; loving mother of, Elizabeth Cunningham and Ellen Townley; her cherished grandchildren that she loved, Trent, Blake, Leslie, and Hayley; Peggy was a loving and caring sister of Lenora Summerlin and Lynn Whisenant; caring aunt of David Ray (Donna) Summerlin, Jeff (Roseanna) Whisenant, Scott (Stefanie) Whisenant; a great aunt to many and a beloved grandmother to many family friends; Curt Sunderland and daughters Alicia and Jennifer, Allen Fortner and his children Elizabeth and Cody. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 3,2010 from1pm-2pm with a chapel service to follow at 2:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
