Myrna Robinson

Myrna Joyce Robinson, 75, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away peacefully at her home on August 23rd. Joyce was born in Birmingham on June 24, 1942. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Rogers Samuel "Sammy" Robinson; mother, Ellen Rylant; sisters, Terrie Garner (Larry) and Deborah Connell (Carl); three children, Michael Calamusa, Stephanie Calamusa, and Lisa Calamusa; and two grandchildren, Keith Keranen and Kristin Calamusa. Joyce loved to cook and host gatherings for her family at her home, and we will sorely miss her. She was loved by anyone who knew her, and was truly "one of the nicest people you will ever meet," as she often told people-she had a great sense of humor. She was very young at heart. A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville. The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 12:00pm from the funeral home chapel with a one hour visitation prior to the service with Reverend Sharon Eich officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
