Mary Woods

Mrs. Mary Hopkins Woods, age 96, of Birmingham, passed away on May 16, 2016 after a brief illness. She was a longtime member of Huffman Baptist Church. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren, who she loved and was loved by in return. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, William Paul Woods, Jr; and her son, David Woods. She is survived by her son, Ronald E. Woods (Debbie); her daughter, Suzan Woods Touchton (Chris); 5 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 2pm at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, with a private burial to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.
