Mary Stephens

Stephens, Mary Elizabeth Gaston age 96, went to her heavenly home to be reunited with her beloved husband Harry Lee and son, Harry Wayne, parents Joe and Genie Gaston, brothers Beverly Gaston and Wiley Gaston on April 5, 2011. She is survived by her daughter, Sondra Cochran (Don); daughter-in-law Joan Stephens; grandchildren; Don Cochran, Jr. (Tammy), Dana Langford, Lee Stephens (Kelley), Renee' Riley (Chuck); twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; sisters, Frances Acton, Charlotte Thompson; brothers, Wilbur Gaston, Warren Gaston, Gene Gaston, and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Huffman United Methodist Church for over 50 years where she taught the Mary-Martha Sunday School Class. She retired from Parisians, was a Past President of the Huffman Garden Club and enjoyed painting in her later years. She lived her life "Worthy of the Lord to please Him in everyway: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God." Colossians 1:9-10. Visitation will be Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 1:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East, followed by a Celebration of Her Life at 2:00pm.
