Mary Marsh

MARSH, MARY ELLEN 67, of Trussville, AL went to be with her Lord Feb 1, 2011. For 41 years she devoted her career to the Social Security Administration until retiring in June 2006. Serving at several churches, she was a former director of Baptist WMU, Children's Bible Drill Team, Singles Again Ministry, and Gideon Women's Auxiliary. Currently she is a member of Deerfoot Baptist Church in Trussville. Mary Ellen Is survived by her husband, Brice Marsh; two sons, Richard D. Irvin (Chandra) and Kevin Marsh (Julie); one daughter Terri Murphy (Jim); four beloved grandchildren, April Irvin, Jonathan Marsh, Sarah Grace Marsh, and Anna Marsh; one brother, Ed Arbuckle (Dodie) of Paris, IL; and one sister, Linda Jordan (Don) of Kalamazoo, Ml. She was preceded in death by her parents Roscoe and Geraldine Arbuckle of Paris, IL and a sister, Martha Vaughn (Ron) of Tampa, FL. Visitation at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville is scheduled for Saturday, Feb 5 at 11 am until 12 pm. She will lie in state at Locust Fork Baptist Church on Highway 79 at 1 pm with ceremony to follow at 2 pm. Burial at Marsh Family Cemetery in Locust Fork.
