Marjorie Scott

Marjorie Ann Scott was born on February 12, 1927 and passed away on February 6, 2013. Margie was a faithful member of Lakewood Baptist Church. Endearing titles such as "Mom", "Maw-in-law", "Grandmother" and "Marge" were used to show the love and respect she so richly deserved. Her laughter and smile filled the hearts of those who had the honor, pleasure and privilege of her company. Margie was held dear by so many and will be sorely missed, but we all know she is now in heaven with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. What a wonderful lady she was! She was preceded in death by her husband, Carr "Scotty" Scott, brother, Gerald C. Middleton, mother, Dicie Catherine Middleton, and father, George C. Middleton. She is survived by her son, Jerry Scott (Teresa); daughters, Cathi Burdine (Randy) and Carla Van Alyne (Walt); grandchildren, Ryan Burdine (Mandy), Scott Burdine, J.J. Scott (Sarah), Justin Scott, TJ Shipp (Penny), and Casey Shipp; great grandchildren, Katie Burdine and Olivia Burdine; sister, Delores McCrary; many nieces and nephews. Services will be on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. E.L. Mullin will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
