Anne Masterson Curry was born on August 2, 1927 to Helen Dooley Buck Masterson and Harvey Howard Masterson in Trussville, AL. She is preceded in death by her parents and six brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, A.E. (Ervin) Curry and her sister, Betty Johnson. Other survivors include her children, Michael Curry, Pat Curry (Carolyn), and Kevin Anne Curry Whitehead (Brad); grandchildren, Brandi Curry Jones (Alan), Jenny Curry Moore (Brian), Lindsay Curry Dawson (Robert), Benjamin and Andrew Whitehead; great grandchildren, Anna and Alaina Jones and Jacob Moore; sisters-in-law, Sue Shivers and Ann Pogue. Anne was a faithful member of 76th Street Presbyterian , Eastminster Presbyterian and Riverchase Presbyterian Churches. She sang in the choir for 54 years and taught adult Sunday School. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 from 5 to 7PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Jefferson Memorial. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Don Neal will officiate the services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cognitive Dynamics Foundation, P.O. Box 1008, Tuscaloosa, AL 35403. God saw that she was getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around her and whispered "Come with me". Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
