Marilyn Cole

Was born on November 25, 1945 and went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 01, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Landrum, step-father Connie Franklin and mother Irene Franklin, brothers Edward Landrum, Wayne Landrum and Harold Landrum.

She was surrounded by her family, that loved her dearly.  She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Walter Cole.   Her children, James Shrader, Jr., Debbie (Rick) Busby, George Cole, and Cynthia Holloway (Kenny Ray Humphrey).  She is also survived by her brother Thomas Landrum.

She was a loving mother of 4, grandmother to 7 and great grandmother to 11, with several nieces and nephews.

Marilyn was a hairstylist at Perfect Look, in Gardendale, for many years.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 04, 2020 at 3:00 pm with burial in Jefferson Memorial, “Field of Honor”.  The service will be officiated by Pastor Kent McClendon.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association, Diabetes Foundation or St. Jude.
