Marie Wheeler

Marie Wheeler, age 86, of Center Point, AL passed away on August 1, 2017. She was born in Marshall County and was a native of Guntersville, AL. On October 12, 1951 she married the love of her life, Dempsey Ray Wheeler. Marie was a devoted Southern Baptist and a strong believer in her faith. She retired as an Optician Assistant through Sears after several years of service. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Dempsey Ray Wheeler; daughter, Donna Wheeler Miranda; son-in-law, John Michael Miranda; several beloved siblings. She is survived by her three granddaughters, Christy McLean, Jill Miranda and Lindsay Young (Jason); five great grandchildren, Brooks Wade, Liliana Miranda, Collin McLean, Katelyn Young and Everett McLean; numerous nieces and nephews. A service for Marie will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Jefferson Memorial Chapel in Trussville. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
