Lillian Mullins

Lillian Ruth Mullins, 74, of Ashville passed away on March 6, 2011. Ruth was born January 20, 1937 in Corbin, Kentucky to B.C. and Delcia Mullins. Formerly of Tarrant, Ruth had spent the last 10 years as a resident of Ashville Healthcare. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star Boyles Chapter #104, where she cherished her friendships and duties in her time spent there. Ruth was also a member of Springdale Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Charles and Denver Mullins. Survivors include two sisters, Evelyn Ensey of Ashville AL and Annette Songer of Montgomery AL; one brother, Donald Mullins (Betty) Louisville KY and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 8 beginning at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with a brief memorial ceremony performed by her friends of the Eastern Star with Graveside Services at 1:00 PM in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. The family is very grateful for the loving and professional care of Ashville Healthcare nurses and staff over these last 10 years.
