Larry Lamon

Larry J. Lamon, age 66, of Birmingham, passed away June 24, 2013. Larry was a graduate of Birmingham Southern and retired from Southern Natural Gas with 20 years of service. He was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church where he previously worked with the youth program. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Woodrow W. and Frances Bice Lamon, and his dog McDuffy. Chapel services will be held on Wednesday, June 26, at 2pm with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sharon Lamon, brother Marion (Lynda) Lamon, sister Bettye (Dave) Holloway, his beloved pets Zack and Nick, and numerous nieces and nephews.
