Karen Amberson

Karen W Amberson passed away on Sunday, May 10th at the age of 58.

Karen Wilson Amberson was born in Birmingham, Alabama.  She graduated from Tarrant High School where she was a cheerleader and went on to attend Jefferson State Community College. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Trussville and an avid Auburn fan. She devoted much of her time and energy to her family and grandkids.

Mrs. Amberson is survived by her husband, Ray Amberson; mother, Carolyn Wilson; daughter, Amanda Amberson Mundy (Chris); son, Lee Amberson (Katie), brother, Dale Wilson (Beverly); sister, Teresa Allred (David); sister, Kenneith Donald (Glenn); granddaughter, Summer Mundy (Age 10); grandsons, Henry Amberson (Age 10), Nash Amberson (Age 9), Nolan Amberson (Age 6), Hawkins Amberson (Age 4), nieces Ann Marie Wilson (Nathan), Brooke Wahl (Tyler), Hayley Wilson and nephews, John David Allred, Health Wilson (Elsa), Hamilton Donald (Julia), Jordan Donald, and 8 great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Verlon Wilson.
