Joseph Cocke

Joseph M. Cocke, 84 of Vestavia Hills passed away on May 10, 2010. Joe was self employed as an electrical engineer and has been an active member of Briarwood Presbyterian Church. Additionally he was a World War II veteran and graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1950. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Elizabeth Templeton Cocke; their children, William Cooke and wife, Kathleen; Carolyn Templeton, and John Cocke and wife, Tammy; four grandchildren, James, Michelle, Michael and Brett. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 13 beginning at 11:00 AM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Chapel services beginning at 12:00 PM with Mark Cushman and Frank Barker officiating and burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
