Johnnie Sue Aycock

Johnnie Sue Dailey Aycock, age 91 of Trussville, AL passed away on January 23, 2020. She was a native of Jasper, AL and former resident of Center Point, AL. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Center point. Johnnie was a devoted Christian. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and doing crafts and had a passion for cooking and canning. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Alton Aycock; her daughter, Patricia Lee Morris; grandsons, Jason Aycock, David Wayne Morris and Douglas Wayne Morris; two brothers, Luther and Clint and five sisters, Velma, Stella, Hazel, Ollie and Lillie. She is survived by her two sons, Gary Wayne Aycock Charlie), of Trussville and Michael Alton Aycock (Sharon), of Trussville; her twin sister, Vonnie Lou Sandlin; son-in-law, Larry Morris; five grandchildren, Mishelle Braxton (Horace), Wendy Kelly (Charles), Brandon Aycock (Christin) Nick Aycock (Rebecca), Abby Grace (Kyle) and Alex Aycock (Abby); fifteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. A funeral for Johnnie will be held on Monday, January 27th at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home at 12 noon with visitation held one hour prior. Pastor Larry Morris and Pastor Charles Kelly are officiating.
