John Heine

John Austin Heine, Sr., age 83, of Birmingham, AL went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 16,2010. He was born in Washington D.C. on December 4,1926. He is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Jewel Heine; brothers, Joseph and Fred Heine, Jr. all of Silver Spring, Maryland. A US Navy World War II Veteran, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, John is survived by his wife, Dorothy; children, John Heine, Jr., Kathryn Howard, Melanie Gross(John), all of Birmingham, Don Heine of Charleston, S.C., Mary Gingold(David), Mt. Juliet, TN and Bill Heine(Karyn), Frisco, TX. He leaves 9 grandchildren, Gregory and Ben Howard, Huntsville, AL, Emily Heine, Nashville, TN, Will and Kaely Heine, Frisco,TX, John Howard, John, Ansley and Evans Gross, Birmingham, AL; sister, Doris Parys of NW Maryland. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 11:00AM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 19,2010 one hour prior to service time at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.
