Joel Knox Johnston, age 69, of Hoover, passed away December 11, 2012. He was a retired teacher from Warrior Middle School. Graveside services will be on Friday, Dec 14, at 2pm with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 1pm until 2pm Friday. He is survived by his daughter Shelly Marie Galloway (Jerry), grandson Justin Galloway, brothers Donn Johnston (Marilyn), Johnny Johnston (Jan Collier), nieces and nephews Lee Johnston, Joanna Yancy, Christy Cannon, and Clint Johnston.
