Jennie Alfano

ALFANO, JENNIE LOUISE TRAINA Age 80, passed away Friday May 27, 2011. She was born in Wellsville, Ohio on October 31, 1930 to Alfonso and Josephine Traina. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Tommy Alfano; and sister, Anna Bucher. She is survived by her six sons, Vincent (Cathy), Albert, Tommy (Debra), Jerry (Sharen), Jody (Kelly), John (Michele); and her 15 grandchildren, Jason (Leslie), Jessica (Dave), Christen (Ryan), John Paul (Melissa), Jennifer (Justin), Anna, Karlie, Kathleen, Tommy, John Michael, Jeri Lauren, Will, Natalie, Alice, and Mallie Claire; great-grandchildren Jacob, Luke, Taylor, Aubrey, Levi and Griffin; sisters, Josephine Jordan, Rose (Hank) Powell, Phyllis (Don) Mick; and a brother, John (Jean) Traina. Jennie was a faithful member of Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church and retired from the Jefferson County Tax Assessors Office. There will be a Rosary at 5:00 PM, Tuesday May 31, 2011 at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville, AL with visitation following at 5:15 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church.
