Mrs. Northington was an active participant in her church, United Methodist women's organization, overseas missions, and was a strong supporter and den mother in the Scouting program, and Little League baseball. Services will be on Tuesday, December 28 at Alabaster First United Methodist Church. Visitation will be at 10 AM, with services in the church sanctuary, beginning at 11 AM, to be followed by a brief graveside service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, Trussville. The Rev. Denise Mullaney and the Rev. David Farry (son-in-law) will be officiating. She is survived by her two sons, Larry Northington (Linda), David Northington (Emily); one brother, Jim Ogburn (Sandy) of Raleigh North Carolina; 5 grandchildren, Stacy Farry (David), Brad Northington (Kelly), Ryan Northington, Wesley Northington, and Kate Northington; 3 great-grandchildren, Evan Farry, Anna Farry, and Ryleigh Farry.
