James Posey

James Posey "Jim", age 97 of Birmingham, AL passed away on November 24, 2013. He was a member of Huffman Baptist Church. He retired from the Birmingham Fire Department after 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife Florence Chappelle Posey and brother Raymond Posey. Chapel services will be held on Friday, Nov 29, at 10am with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Reverend Larry Smith will officiate. Visitation will be from 9am until 10am Friday. He is survived by his daughter Susan Posey Holmes (John) of Auburn, son Timothy James Posey of Birmingham, brother Chester N. Posey (Sue) of Clifton, TX, grandson Joseph James "Josh" Jilek IV of Auburn, several nieces and nephews. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
