Helen Ormond

Helen Elizabeth "Betsy" Ormond, age 72, of Trussville, passed away on September 16, 2017. She graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1962 and was a domestic engineer throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Ormond; her father, Mac Ellis; and her mother and step-father, Elizabeth Ellis Crawford and Bill Crawford. She is survived by her daughters, Kellee Lowe (David) and Tracy Ormond (Owen); her son, Lee "Chip" Ormond, Jr. (Robin); her sister, Bonnie Evans; her grandchildren, Ellen Ormond and Will Ormond; and her beloved dog, Jumper and Rebel the cat. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 3pm at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Humane Society.
