Helen C. Louzis- On Saturday, May 9, 2020, Helen C. Louzis passed away at the age of 78 after a long and courageous battle with ALS. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Birmingham and a graduate of Phillips High School and a member of the National Honors Society. She was retired from Parisian. She was an excellent artist, singer, seamstress, gardener, animal lover, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend! She was known for her excellent sense of humor, her artwork and her ability to sing. She was a choir member in her early days under the direction of Hugh Thomas at her church. She lived for the success and well being of her grandchildren in her later years! She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Kirby Lee Stough, Jr and Helen Elizabeth Stough. Her children, Jeff Coleman and Rhonda Middleton (John), grandchildren, Dr. Sydney Middleton (Ben) and John Michael Middleton, sister, Patsy Catchings (Ben), brother, Kirby Lee Stough III (Kellie) together with several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in her honor to the ALS Association of Alabama, 300 Cahaba Park Cir Ste 209, Birmingham, AL 35242
