George Reese

George Ellis Reese, Jr. age 78 of Pinson, AL passed away on Thursday, October7, 2010. He was a member of Pinson First Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and choir member for over 50 years. He sang with The Glory Road Quartet for over 10 years. He is survived by his wife, Maxine Reese; daughters, Renee Baker (Tim) and Michelle Sims (Stan); sisters, Virginia Hagood and Margaret Wilkinson (Bud); brother, Harold Reese (Peggy); six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, October 10, 2010 at 6 pm at Pinson First Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 pm prior to the service. Graveside service will be on Monday, October 11, 2010 at 11 am at Bethel Methodist Church. Reverend David Awtrey and Dr. Gary Fisher officiating over the services.
