Floyd Taylor

Floyd Albert Taylor, age 78 of Birmingham, AL passed away on February 22, 2011. He was born and raised in Lineville, AL. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was retired from the State of Alabama Highway Department after 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Jo Taylor, parents, Wyatt and Tessie Taylor, brothers, Leon and William Taylor, and sister, Adell Carlen. He is survived by his wife, Martha Taylor; daughters, Beth Taylor Gore (Mike) and Janet Tatum- Carruth (Thomas); grandchildren, Gabriella and Russell Gore, Erik, Marcus, and Corey Tatum. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 24, 2011 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services at Jefferson Memorial will follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Brother Thom Stembridge will be officiating over the services. Pallbearers will be the grandsons, Mike Stanley and Jesse Sprayberry.
