Florence Keith

Florence Wallace Keith, age 91, of Birmingham, AL, passed away on May 25, 2017. Florence worked at SSA for 25 years, volunteered at the JET Literacy Program at BMC Montclair for many years, & worked in WMU, GA's, & as a Sunday School teacher for 70 years of her life. Florence was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Keith; her daughter, Karen Keith Perrin; her parents, Marion W. Wallace & Katie E. Wallace; 1 brother, Clyde E. Wallace; and 5 sisters: Willie Mae Bailey, Inez Marcus Martin, Irene W. Tidwell, Louise Searcy Boutwell, & Betty Joyce Pardue Smith. Survivors are as follows: daughter, Kathy Keith Stokes (Johnny); grandchildren, Stacy R. Stokes, Johnny R. Stokes, Jr. & Whitney P. Cantrell (Corey); 1 brother, M.L. Wallace (Joan); 3 sisters, Margie M. Smith, Dorothy N. Cain, and Linda R. Gamble (James); many other family members & friends; and the Crestway Baptist Church family. She will remain forever in our hearts. Chapel visitation at Jefferson Memorial Trussville on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, 1:00-3:00 PM. Chapel funeral to follow at 3:00 PM with Dr. Jimmy Wilson officiating & Larry Tidwell singing. Burial with graveside services to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East, Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
