Edward Ray Greer II, age 68, of Trussville, AL, passed away December 21, 2012 at his residence. He loved riding horses, camping, and gardening. Mr. Greer was a member of First Baptist Church of Trussville and was retired from a career as a welder. Mr. Greer was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Ray Greer. He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Greer; his sons, Kelly Wayne Greer and David Leman Greer; his mother, Martha Sue Walker; 2 grandchildren, Josephine Grace Greer and Hunter Landon Greer; and sisters-in-law, Janette Davis and Renee Hodge. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 23, 2012 from 1-2 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville, AL. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm in the chapel with the Rev. Bobby Erwin officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
