Dorothy Granger Fuller "Dot", born May 15, 1929 in Tarrant, AL died May 15, 2016. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Clay, AL for nearly 60 years where she enjoyed singing in the choir, and later participating in adult bible study groups. She was active in her children's schools serving in the PTA, and served a couple of years as President of the Huffman Elementary PTA. She spent over 30 years as an Optician for various Ophthalmologists and managed several locations for optical dispensaries. She enjoyed singing with her trained soprano voice, not only Singing in the choir, but also sang for numerous weddings and funerals. After her retirement, she and Bud loved traveling with their camper and being with old friends at several campgrounds, and making new and long lasting friendships with others they met while camping. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Adam D. Fuller Sr. "Bud", her parents were Lula Bell Granger and Glover Gordon Granger. She was the youngest and last survivor of 4 children, Morris A. Grainger, Alwilda Granger Higginbotham, and Nell Granger Newell. She was a loving mother to Michael D. Fuller Sr. (Sherry), Thomas G. Fuller (Kathy) and Adam D. Fuller Jr. (Cheryl). She also had grandchildren Todd Gillespie (Shannon), Michael D. Fuller Jr. (Alicia), Jessica F. Dixon (Adam), Alexandra F. Brown (Ben), and Elizabeth F. Philpot (Clint). She also had several great grandchildren, Bailey Gillespie, Emma Dixon, Brady Gillespie, Murphey Dixon, Colin Dixon, Amelia Dixon, nieces Frances Johnson, Suzanne DeLoach, nephews Darryl Higginbotham, Rodney Grainger, cousins John Adam Dreher, and David Dreher. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 17, at 1pm at Faith Lutheran Church with services beginning at 2pm with burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Mr. Dennis McMillan and Pastor Susan Montgomery officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Faith Lutheran Memorial Fund in her honor.
