Claudine Ledbetter

Claudine M. Wadsworth Hearn Ledbetter passed away November 23,2010 at her home in Birmingham, AL surrounded by her children. She was born in Blount County, AL. on February 12, 1922 to Dona Hill Wadsworth and Arthur E. Wadsworth. Claudine is preceded in death by a son, Charles T. Hearn; husband, Emmett E. Ledbetter; great granddaughter Joanna Cowan; two sisters and three brothers. Left to honor and cherish her memory, her children Joy Kasper (Joseph) El Paso, TX, Carole Massey, B'ham., AL, Judy Gayle Hearn, B'ham., AL, Floyd "Sonny" Hearn, Ft. Payne, AL, Ginger Moore, Oneonta, AL Grandchildren: Anna Gilder (Andy), Pamela Jones, Kay Kasper, Davis "Chip" Kasper (Dodie), Anneke Kasper, Patricia Love (Dennis), Sharon Lynn (Edward), Diane Minton ( Sid), Michael Hearn, Barbara Hearn, Frank James, Doug Williams (Mo), Brandy Hearn. Great grandchildren: Harrison Gilder, lan Pryseski (Cherie) Haley Kasper, Spencer Kasper, Danielle Kasper, Eric Love, Tori Love, Chase Lynn (Ashley), Zachary Lynn, Alex Minton, Braden Minton, Lucien Hearn, Michael Williams, Megan Williams, Aiden Hearn. Great-great grandchild: Eli Lynn. Sister Eloise Kirby, Pacifica, Ca., brother Wayne Wadsworth, Brookside, AL, many cousins, nieces, nephews and sister in Christ Jean Warr. Claudine was a member of The Healing Place (Sherwood Church of God). She was a home-maker who enjoyed her family, needle work, cooking, reading, gardening and traveling. Her travels took her to Taipei, Taiwan where she lived for a few months. Her wonderful sense of humor and loving heart endeared her to all who knew her. Though she is gone to be with God, her devotion to family and friends, and her beautiful smile will forever remain in our hearts. The family extends deep appreciation to Hospice for their tender care of our sweet precious Mother. Visitation will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 11, Trussville, AL Sunday Nov. 28, 2010 from 2 PM to 4 PM. A viewing will also be held Monday Nov. 29, 2010 at 10 AM at The Healing Place Church in Trussville. Memorial service to follow at 11. Interment at Forest Crest Cemetery, Hwy. 78 East, Irondale, AL.
