Charles Santarlas

Charles G. Santarlas, age 62 of Blountsville, AL passed away on October 20, 2012. He is formerly of Birmingham, AL. He was of Catholic Faith. He retired from the U.S. Air Force and the 117th Air National Guard. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW. He is preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Mary Elizabeth Santarlas, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Janet Santarlas; daughters, Rose Marie Santarlas, Leila Wakefield, Cathy Sterling, and Cynthia McKellar; son, Michael Santarlas; sister, Linda Calhoun; brothers, Everett Santarlas, Jr. and Stephen Santarlas; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 5 to 7PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be on Thursday at 10:00 AM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 1:15 PM at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
