GREENE, CARRIE ADAMS of Springville, AL born on August 27, 1913 passed away on June 15, 2011 at the age of 97. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Keener M. Greene; son: Dr. Van T. Greene; parents: Robert Bell and Cora Adams; sisters: Willie Lea; Effie Wade, Nancy Leonard, Corinne Williams; brothers: Jimmy Adams, Clifton Adams, Tom Adams. She is survived by her son, John R. Greene and wife Frances; daughter, Kay Johnson, all of Springville, AL; daughter-in-law, Betty S. Greene of Clanton, AL; grandchildren, Tom Greene of Alabaster, AL; Donna Moseley of Clanton, AL, Beth Dansby and her husband George of Clanton, AL, Charles Johnson and his wife Carol of Moody, AL, Carrie L. Johnson and her friend Lisa Raguso of Lebanon, TN; great grandchildren, Noel Moseley, Darcy Moseley, Matt Johnson and his wife Stacie, Katie Johnson, Lauren Greene, Caitlin Greene and Dylan Greene; and great-great grandchild: Alexis Greene. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 17, 2011 from 5-7PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 12:00PM at Jefferson Memorial Chapel burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East Rev. Mike Ratliff officiating.
