Bridget Pitts (Gable) Watson, 50, went to be with the Lord and her dad on February 3, 2014, after a long illness. Bridget was proceeded in death by her father, Royce H. Gable; grandparents, Major and Vesper Webster and Mervil Gable. Bridget was a loving mother to Stephanie and Austin and devoted "Mimi" to Carter and Collier. She is survived by her mother, Frances W. Gable; sister, Alison Akins (Mark Nelson); brother, Jason Gable (Tiffany Burks); and nephews, Garett, Jack and Reed Gable; and a host of loving aunts, uncles and cousins. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and her big brown eyes. Bridget was a graduate of West Birmingham Christian School and Birmingham Southern College. She taught school at Gardendale Christian Academy and was later director of Jefferson County's Elder Garden. Visitation will be Friday, February 7th, from 11:00 - 12:00 with service to follow at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Trussville. Rev. Regan Boling officiating. Jefferson Memorial East directing services.
