Brenda Maryanow

Brenda Culp Maryanow, passed away on July 31, 2017. She was born on July 28, 1945 to the late Mr. Roland Paul Culp and Ms. Louise Whiting Culp Mason. Brenda graduated from Banks High School in 1963 and attended Samford University. She was a long-time member of Birmingham Duplicate Bridge Club where she made many long lasting friendships. Brenda was a devoted and loving wife to Mr. Aaron Harold Maryanow, and a loving mother to Joseph H. Maryanow and Cyndi K. Smith. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Dean Smith. Those left behind to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Aaron Harold Maryanow; her children, Joseph H. Maryanow (Susan) and Cyndi K. Smith; her grandchildren, Patricia Maryanow Herring (Chase), Iain H. Maryanow, Dailey J. Smith, Darcy J. Smith, Deanna J. Smith; a sister, Paulette Grissett; two nieces, Gideon Grissett and Gretchen Grissett Hardwick (Clay); one nephew, Gabriel Grissett (Alicia). Her funeral service will be held at 12PM on Tuesday, August 8th at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior. A private committal service will be reserved for family only following the chapel service. Brother Bobby Erwin is officiating.
