Brandy Lusk

Brandy Lynn Barlow Lusk, 41 passed away unexpectantly on July 13, 2022 in an automobile accident. She was born January 8, 1981 and attended Chalkville High School, graduating in 1999.

Growing up Brandy loved doing gymnastics and loved collecting frogs. She married Wayne Lusk August 18, 2001, and they were married for 20 years. She worked intermittently out of the home, but Brandy's most important job in life was being a mom to her 2 children Layla and Lil' Wayne. Brandy loved her children more than life and was fiercely protective of them.

As an adult Brandy had many friends and enjoyed being creative. She loved gardening and landscaping at her house and taking pictures of her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Andrew Barlow, mother Debra Killingsworth Craiger, Grandparents Louise Vaske and Sentell and Betty Killingsworth, uncle Devin Killingsworth and Cousin Jake Barclay.

She is survived by her daughter Layla Weems (Anthony), son Richard Wayne Lusk II, her sister Angela Flemmer (Scott), her aunt Fay Killingsworth, great aunt Lola Chatham, her ex-husband Wayne Lusk, Stepdad Dale Craiger (Vicki), Step mom Sonya Barlow, Step siblings Casey Craiger (Sunshine), Charla Craiger, Sheena Barlow, and several cousins.

Services will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens and will be conducted by Donny Holley. Visitation will be from 1100-1230 on Saturday, July 23, 2022 with services immediately to follow.
