Bobby Whitley

Bobby Allen Whitley, Sr., age 81 of Trussville, AL passed away on June 23, 2013. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Cleveland, AL. He was a graduate of Tarrant High School Class of 1950 and he also graduated from Jefferson State Community College. He served in the U.S. Air Force, where he was in the Bay of Pigs. He also served in the Alabama Air National Guard, where he was a Chief Master Sergeant. He was a member of the Wahauma Masonic Lodge #763. He is survived by his wife, Justine "Dee" Whitley; children, Allen (Lynn), Glenn, Joe, and Linda (Wendell); grandchildren, Carla Jean, Cristin, Cheryl (Mark), Chad, Katie, Chris, Beau, and Patrick. Services will be on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Bob Curlee will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
