Betty Tucker

Betty T. Tucker, age 75, of Birmingham, passed away July 12, 2011. Mr. and Mrs. Tucker owned Jim's Signs in Pinson, and she was a member of 25th Ave Baptist Church of Birmingham. She was a Past President of Jefferson State Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. She was preceded in death by her children Gwendolyn Self and Terry Tucker. Services will be on Saturday, July 16 at 11am in the Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Brother Mike Young officiating. Visitation will be from 5pm until 7pm Thursday. She is survived by her husband of 34 years Jim Tucker, children Kathy Hughes (Danny) Debbi Mann (David), Kim Holden, James Brown (Shannon), 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, sisters Patsy Waldrop, Fran McGinnis (Sammy), brothers Jerry Tucker (Helen), Ronnie Tucker, numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.
