Betty Harrell

Betty A. Harrell passed away peacefully at 88 years of age. She was born in Bessemer, Alabama, on August 5, 1927, and died July 24, 2016. She was a longtime faithful member of the First United Methodist Church of Center Point, a member of the Mizpah Sunday School Class, and an active member of the United Methodist Women. Betty was a 1949 graduate of the University of Alabama. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Floyd W. Harrell, Jr. She is survived by her three sons, Floyd W. Harrell III (Becky), of Orange Beach, AL, Dr. Ricky E. Harrell (Melanie), of Charleston, SC, and Terry L. Harrell (Connie), of Birmingham. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The family wishes to express special thanks to our friend, Janie Matthews, for her help and support over the past nine months. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 26, at Jefferson Memorial Trussville, from 5:00-7:00PM, and a graveside service at Jefferson Memorial on Wednesday, July 27, at 10:30AM.
