Betty Bowers

Mrs. Betty Bowers, 77, of Gadsden passed away on August 24, 2017. Betty was a member of the Church of God in Cleveland, TN. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Reverend James B. Bowers, parents, Dennis C. Miles and Una V. Miles, and sister, Magdalene White. She is survived by her children, Dr. James P. Bowers (Laura), Theresa Norris (Harold), Reverend Dean Bowers, Jonathan Bowers (Kim), Elisabeth Campbell (Greg), and Rebecca Wilson (Eddy), sisters, Dorothy Freeman and Dolories Bermuth, 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00pm from the funeral home chapel with Reverend Dean Bowers and Reverend Dr. James P. Bowers officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
