Anthony Sazera

Anthony "Tony" Sazera, age 93, of Tarrant, passed away July 7, 2011. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific in the 43rd Army Division and earned the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart and the Combat Infantry Badge. He is preceded in death by his daughter Jackie Stancil. Services will be on Sunday July 10, at 3pm in the Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 1pm until 3pm Sunday. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Betty Sazera, sons Anthony Sazera (Lynn), Walter "Butch" Deneke (Andrea), daughter Mary Hughes (Tom), son in law Garnett Stancil, 9 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
