Amy Sunderland

Amy Henderson Sunderland, 86 passed away May 19, 2017 at her home in Leeds, Alabama. A private graveside service for the family will be held at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East in the Garden of the Good Shepherd with Dr. Stephen Hall with North Park Baptist officiating. Amy was born in Oxford, Alabama January 4, 1931 and attended Oxford High School. She was preceded in death by her husband William Eugene Sunderland, two brothers, and two sisters. Amy is survived by her three children, Deborah S. Lewis (Joe), Gary Lee Sunderland (Teresa), and Dennis Anthony Sunderland (Janet). Amy was a beloved grandmother of six grandchildren, Jennifer Lewis, Christopher Sunderland, Kristen S. Wiginton (Brantley), Abby S. Aycock (Alex), Blake Sunderland, and Nicholas Sunderland. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Organization.
