Wynelle Hodges

Wynelle Roberson Hodges of Birmingham, AL passed away on August 1, 2011. Wynelle was born in Jacksonville, FL., on December 06, 1930, to Ernest Roberson & Nellie Smith. She spent much of her life in North Carolina, yet called Birmingham home for the past 42 years! Preceded in death by her 1st husband, Roger E. Beeson, 2nd husband, Thomas Richard Hodges and three children, Darrell Lee Beeson, William Lee Hodges and Thomas Richard Hodges, Jr. Survivors include one Brother, Richard Lee Roberson { Marjorie} of Webster, TX: Her children, Roger Michael Beeson; Joyce Lynne Beeson; Dana Hodges Stuckenschneider {Ted}; all of Birmingham, AL., Sonny Hodges (Betty) of Denton, TX; 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and Nieces, Nephews, & many friends that will miss Wynelle dearly. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 2 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Chapel services on Wednesday, August 3 at 10:00 AM with Bro. Gary Edge officiating. Mrs. Hodges grandsons will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, contributions to be made to: Odyssey Hospice. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
