Wynell Holderfield

Wynell Rylant Holderfield, age 89, of Irondale, AL went to be with Jesus Wednesday, November, 4, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years Charles Holderfield, two sons, James Holderfield (Sue), Ray Holderfield (Teena), five grandchildren, Brian Holderfield (Julie), Chuck Holderfield (Whitney), Michelle Denard (Jon), Mandy Holderfield, and Brandy Hyatt (Eric), eight great-grandchildren, and one sister Cheryl Guffy. Wynell was devoted to her husband Charles Holderfield, her children and her family along with a host of friends. To most everyone she was known as Granny. She was a special lady and loved so much. Wynell was preceded in death by her parents Wadie Burgess and Ben Rylant. Two sisters Minnie Lou Howard, Mary Bradley, three brothers Homer Rylant, J.C. Rylant, and Alton Rylant. Pallbearers are Brian Holderfield, Jacob Holderfield, Jon Dernard, Eric Hyatt, Christopher Hyatt, Warren Westerhouse. Officiating minister, Rev. Dewey V. Wilhite. Services will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens Saturday, November 7, 2020. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Funeral at 2:00 P.M. Burial will be immediately following service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Face masks are required.
