Wilma Speegle

age 68 passed away on March 1, 2013. Wilma was a native of Walling TN and later became a resident of Birmingham AL where she has resided most of her life. She was a graduate of Woodlawn High School. She retired from South Trust Bank after 14 years of service in Insurance Management. She was a long time member of Center Crest Baptist Church, of Birmingham. Wilma is preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Ruth Atnip. She leaves behind her loving husband of over 50 years, Wendell Speegle; sons, Kenneth Speegle and Gary Speegle (Sherry); sister, Louise Pongettie (David); 6 grandchildren: Nicholas, Emily, Zane, Carlie, LaKeshia and Miles; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 4, 2013, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with burial immediately following. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Reverend Tim Evans and Reverend Bob Curley will be officiating. Jefferson Memorial directing.
