Willie Garner

Willie Tucker Garner age 87 of Remlap, AL and a former long time resident of Tarrant, AL went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 29. She was a sweet and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a member of Remlap First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend for 57 years, Howard C. Garner; Son in Law Martin Kinney; Parents O.G. & Sallie B. Tucker; Granddaughter Carla Thomas; Brothers Melvin, Olan, Don, Pat and Crix Tucker.

She is survived by her three children; daughters Diane (Carl) Thomas and Kathy (Tommy) Bromley ; son Mark (Denise) Garner; Grandchildren Cheryl K. (Scott) Caldwell, Tim (Lillian) Bromley, Jenifer (Adam) Deinhardt, Brandon (Maggie) Garner, Cole Garner, Brian Thomas, Landra (Josh) Carlin, Andrea (David) West and Brad (Amanda) Monts; Great- grandchildren Chad Caldwell (Halie), Zack Caldwell, Dylan Bromley, Justin Bromley, Austin Bromley, Kylie Beth Garner, Emmitte, Evan and Jacob Carlin, Brooke and Kyle West and Jaden Monts; sisters Mildred Bennett, Gloria McCoy, Emerson Arthur and Ella Jane (Claude) Vaughn; brother Fred (Helga) Tucker; sister in law Betty Tucker.

The family will receive friends Sunday, July 31 from 5:00PM - 7:00PM at Jefferson Memorial Trussville. Funeral services will be held at Jefferson Memorial Chapel on Monday at 1:00PM, with burial following at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Pastor Allen Hays will officiate.
