William York

William H. York, Sr. age 87, died peacefully Thursday, October 2, 2014 at his home with his family at his bedside. Mr. York was preceded in death by his parents, William Frank York and Winnie Mae Carey York; his loving wife of 65 years, Annie E. York; his daughter, Joyce Geraldine York; his grandson, William H. York, III; two sisters; Hazel Kayko and Doris Molsey; two brothers, Douglas York and Rev. Melvin York; Survivors include his sons, William H. ( Diane) York, Jr. and John C. York; Granddaughters, Nicole Alexandria York, Michelle Brooke York, Miranda Batchelor and Krystle (Dusty) Herron; grandsons, Brian J. York, and Keith Bain; Great grandsons, William H. York IV, Tyler Herron and Conner Bain; daughter-in-law, Kathy Stevens; his caring companion, Betty Kujan; his sister, Joyce (Dave) Lewis; two brothers, Vincent York and Kenneth York. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Wesley Dickmann and Rev. Pat Giles officiating, The family will receive friends Saturday at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Jefferson Memorial East Directing the services.
