William Williamson

William "Bill" Williamson, 74 of Trussville passed away on May 23, 2011. He was a loving devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Bill retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1992 after 31 years of service. He was a member of 1st Baptist Trussville, a U.S. Air Force Veteran and member of Georgiana Davis Masonic Lodge #338 in Trussville. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Traci Williamson and his parents, William and Lillian Williamson. Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Patricia A. Williamson; two sons, Charles Williamson (Theresa) and Robert Williamson (Lisa); three grandchildren, Lauren, Trent and Heath Williamson. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 25 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel services will be on Thursday, May 26 at 11:00 AM with Bro. Gene Ennis officiating and burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association .
