William Edward Venz, age 76, of Springville, passed away August 10, 2014. William served as a Naval Pilot, and was a Regional Director of the Naval Museum in Pensacola. During his working career, which included numerous jobs in the food industry, he was the Vice President of Green Giant Foods. His favorite hobbies were being a celebrity shooter in sporting clay events for different charities around the country, and especially being a co-announcer with Bob Tallman the Voice of Pro Rodeo. Chapel services will be held on Wednesday, August 13, at 2pm with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 1pm until 2pm Wednesday. He is survived by his wife Sharon Venz, children Barbara Kimbrell (Stanley), Elizabeth Venz, Jillian Venz, Jeffery Venz (Sally), grandchildren Tresa Burnette, James Reagan, Robbie Reagan, sister Patricia Sweatt, brother David Venz, and numerous nieces and nephews.
